Cardinham Woods This Sunday

The Club hasn’t been to Cardinham for a while so it’s time to ride there again!

The Club’s MTB Crew will meet at 9:30 am on Sunday for a couple of laps and maybe more. Coffee and cake will undoubtedly be included as well so it should be a fun morning with laughs and banter for all.

The Cardinham Trail was partially closed during the early Spring but it’s now fully open again. It’s predominantly graded as a Blue Trail so suitable for riders with some experience of riding off-road. It’s possible to get round using a cross-bike but with an MTB you get the full experience where fear is optional but on a cross-bike it maybe guaranteed!

It’s a flowing trail with lots of single track. Climbs have technical switchback sections or they’re more open fire roads. The Whip section provides technical switchbacks downhill that ever tighter as you reach the bottom – a real control tester. The Gribber is an amazing pump section where you can get air if you want or just roll with it.

So looking forward to re-visiting Cardinham.
