Online club shop

The website collects sufficient data to register you with our website and shop. In addition, payment details are securely sent to our payment gateway managed by Stripe who retain that information. We do not hold any payment details at our website.

Contact forms

Contact forms, the login process, and other data collection forms such as the ‘Rider Consent and Information’ form use Ninja Forms.

The data collected enables processes on this web site to support its use by registered users and club members. It is possible that non-registered users of this web site may be required to include personal data in certain circumstances such as the club conducting an online survey.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Personal data that you share with us will remain within our web site and the applications we use to manage St Austell Wheelers Cycling Club. We do not share your personal data with anyone outside of St Austell Wheelers Cycling Club other than the third-party services listed below.

There are occasions when your personal data is shared by yourself such as information that you provide when purchasing from the Club’s online shop but this is your choice. Please see below.

  • Ninja Forms – used for our contact forms, login process, ‘Rider Consent and Information’ Form, etc.;

How long we retain your data

For users and members that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators and Club Committee Members can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We do not send your personal data beyond our Club’s web site except to store it within the Club’s own applications which we use to manage the Club.

This web site retains your contact information which can be edited/deleted within your ‘My Account’ page.

Additional information

This web site retains the additional information, e.g. your address, you provided as part of the checkout and application process you followed when purchasing a membership, product or service from our online Club Shop. We do not store your payment details.

  • We restrict access to your personal data to only Committee Members, agents, and business partners who need access to it in order to deliver requested products and services.

Club Shop:

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our Club Shop.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and sufficient information to process membership and other products/services that are available. Who on our team has access

Members of our team are the web site administrator and Committee Members – they alone have access to the information you provide us. For example, the web site administrators and Committee Members can access:

We do use the membership, product/services that you have purchased to ensure that you have access to appropriate content and data collection which we require to enhance your user experience of the web site and your club membership.
